I am a standard American Eskimo Dog and turned 7 years old in 2007. My Mom is the one who makes the ribbon necklaces and sometimes I model them to help her size the necklaces properly.

My Mom made my first ribbon necklace about 2 years ago and also made some for her friend's pooches. It's something she does as her hobby. Recently this year, friends have asked her to make necklaces for their pooches, so she has "expanded" her hobby. She has sold necklaces on Etsy where handmade crafts are sold, through word of mouth, and through her online doggie groups such as the Eskie Forum and Dogs with Blogs that she is a member of.
